Nella notte, a partire dalle 2.30 ora italiana, ho seguito quello che è stato l'evento dell'anno 2011 (e siamo solo a febbraio, quasi marzo), da Los Angeles in quello spettacolare Kodak Theatre sono stati assegnati gli Academy Awards, comunemente detti Oscars, in onore della damigella Oscar che prima della rivoluzione francese premiò le altre damigelle meglio vestite, quelle che recitavano meglio e quelle meglio costumate; poi però non finì bene, tanto che scoppiò la rivoluzione francese proprio per questo, ma questa è un' altra storia.
Ragazzi, bisogna dirlo, negli States ci sanno proprio fare, noi che ce la meniamo con il festival di Sanremo (a dire la verità non se ne vanta nessuno), ma quello che hanno messo in piedi gli americani è davvero lodevole. Scintillante, tranquillo, fresco, orignale, classico, sfarzoso, elegante, divertente. Red Carpet fantastico, davvero spettacolare, grandi artisti, ressa di giornalisti e tv da tutto il mondo, chefs importanti, lusso e divertimento. Serata iniziata in orario preciso, pubbicità misurate e tempi rispettati, conduzione impeccabile.
Per inizare vi delizio con questo video davvero divertente dove i du mattatori della serata prendono parte a tutti i film in gara con questi 3 minuti che vi faranno davvero divertire.

La serata di premiazione ha visto come protagonisti due grandi attori, una conduzione frizzante, allegra, giovane, elegante, mai volgare, fatta di battute di facile comprensione, una spendida coppia: mattatori della kermesse i giovanissimi Anne Hathaway e James Franco. Lei ce la ricordiamo principalmente per Il diavolo veste Prada, ma ieri sera vestiva Valentino, Versace, Armani (abiti sfavillanti) lui non so bene chi sia, simpatico, allegro e volto rasserenante, era anche nominato come miglior attore protagonista, che non ha nemmeno vinto.
Davvero una bella serata, una magnifica sceneggiatura e coreografia, grandi ospiti, un inglese comprensibilissimo. Di seguito trovate un video dei Best Moments, anche se davvero tutta la serata è stata ottima, gran bel momento con l'ingresso a premiare di Mr. Kirk Dauglas che si rivolge alla bella Anna: 'Where were you wheh I was making pictures??!! You are so gorgeous' e davvero sommovente sentirlo parlare.
Passando ai premi veri e propri, da padrone l'ha fatta Il discorso del Re (the king's speech) che si porta a casa i premi più prestigiosi come miglior film, miglior attore protagonista e miglior regia. Bisogna dire che a dispetto della geniale e decisamente nuova conduzione, il premio di miglio regia in realtà è stato all'insegna del passato, infatti la regia di questo film è stata definita molto classica e per nulla innovativa; Il mondo della comunicazione quindi, sia con the social network che, appunto, con The king's speech l'ha fatta da padrone. Vero e proprio disastro per Il Grinta, che si presentava con ben 10 Nominations e se ne sono tornati a casa completamente a mani vuote, forse ha pagato il paragone con John Wayne, dato che la pellicola era il rmake di un dei film che lo hanno reso celebre. Benissimo la Portman, splendida, in cinta, oscar meritatissimo che va a ripagarla dei sacrifici dell'anno, risana quello che è il bottino scarso di Black Swan (il cigno nero). Magra consolazione per quel capolavoro del cinema moderno e futuro chiamato Inception, che ha evitato i grandi premi, ma si è comunque portato a casa ben 4 statuette dorate, dopo aver sbancato i botteghini di tutto il mondo.
